OPC is diversifying the various duties for the National Courses. Jackie Villanueva is coordinating the N/C Coordinators and volunteers for all the interview locations throughout Ontario. Mike Rosenlund is coordinating the volunteers coming to the OPC office during regular business hours to complete the scoring of school transcripts and/or report cards, and narratives. Anne Kozich will continue as the primary N/C Coordinator, and preparing the interview schedules.
Again this year, OPC has decided to continue with the 90/10 rule. Basically, up to 10% of the PPS and GPS billets available will be for any squadron who has not had a cadet attend a PPS or GPS Summer Training in the past two years, and a cadet has qualified with a minimum overall score of 60% will be selected.
Reminder for the Squadron COs/staff, if a cadet is home-schooled, please advise Anne Kozich (email@example.com) and Craig Hawkins (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible. A home-schooled cadet will need to have an educational assessment with an interview scheduled at a mutually and convenient date and time for the cadet, parent(s), and Craig Hawkins.
If you are available to volunteer either with the scoring of educational marks and narratives, and/or for interviews, please contact the assigned PDO.
If you have any questions or require any further information, please feel free to contact me.
